Difficult Physics - Dearest Physicists - PLEASE HELP ME!!!?

I am looking for a circuit which I could use to measure the resistance of a wire. I can use an Ammeter, a Voltmeter, a variable power supply and as many wires as required. The following is a link to a circuit, using which one can measure the resistance of a light bulb. Can the light bulb in the circuit simply be replaced by the wire the resistance of which I am trying to measure, or would the circuit diagram look completely different? Here is the link: http://www.practicalphysics.org/imageLibrary/jpeg311/1459.jpg Also, how can you draw a variable power supply on a circuit diagram, and how should I draw the wire the resistance of which I am trying to measure, so that it would stand out from the wires making up the rest of the circuit? Thank you very much in advance for your help.
