Why do people comment on questions with an insulting question?
I asked "What is the best way to flirt with a guy?" and this person comments "are you 12?". Do i sound 12?! NO! so why would you ask a question in response to a question. They are wasting their time posting that to a person's yahoo question. it. is. a. waste. of. energy. so stop doing it!! if you are someone who does this, insulting the person asking a question with a question or not answering the question (for example: i cannot answer this question), why do you do this? you have probably noticed i use the word RUDE to describe it, but it's also annoying. VERY ANNOYING. i emphasize very. yahoo answers is a place for people to ask questions and get simple yet helpful answers. "are you 12?" and "i cannot answer this question." are not simple or helpful. it makes me want to track you down and ask why you posted that. so next time you are reading a question (example: should i date this boy???") and you have the urge to post "should you even be dating at this age?", stop and think about what the person who is asking the question will think. she wasn't asking if her age was an appropriate dating age, she was asking SHOULD SHE DATE THIS BOY. Do you honestly think that she wants to get the answer "should you even be dating at this age?"? no because you are not her mother or father so you should not ask her that for no reason. all she wanted was to get advice about dating this boy! so please help me understand why you people comment those kind of answers. is it fun? do you take great pride in knowing people basically hate you and your answer and think you are insulting them? because that is what i thought when that person asked if i was 12 (and no i am not 12). I wanted to delete that comment and email that person a veryyyyy nice email. so please help me understand!
